This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 5209-1977 "General Valve marking".
1 Topic Content
This standard specifies the marking content and marking method that must be used and can be used for general purpose valves.
2 Flags
2.1 Marks of general purpose valves
General valves must be used and can be used to mark the items shown in the following table.

Note: The nominal pressure casting mark value on the valve body is equal to 10 times the number of MPa and is not preceded by the code "PN" when set below the nominal diameter value. 2.2 Sign of hand wheel rotation
If the handwheel size is large enough, the handwheel should be provided with an arrow indicating the direction of valve closing or an additional "off" word.
3 Marking Methods
3.1 Symbol of valve with nominal diameter greater than or equal to 50mm
3.1.1 Items 1 to 4 in Table 1 are required marks and should be marked on the valve body.
3.1.2 Items 5 and 6 in Table 5 are required to be used only when specified in a certain type of valve standard, and they shall be marked on the valve body and flange respectively.
3.1.3 If there are no special provisions in the various valve standards, items 7 to 19 in the table are the marks selected for use on demand. Can be marked on the body or label when required.
3.2 Mark of valve with nominal diameter less than 50mm
3.2.1 Items l to 4 in the table are mandatory flags. Marking on the valve body or on the label is determined by the product designer.
3.2.2 The marks of items 5 to 19 in Table shall be marked according to the provisions of Articles 3.1.2 and 3.1.3.
3.3 Additional Flags
3.3.1 You can attach any flag in the table at different locations. For example, any mark located on the valve body can also be repeatedly located on the plate.
3.3.2 Any other flag may be attached as long as the attached flag is not confused with the flag in the table. For example: product model, etc.
For the logo of the pressure reducing valve, the logo on the valve body in addition to the provisions of the above table, should also be: a: factory date; b: Applicable media; c: Outlet pressure.
Steam trap according to the following table, the mark can be located on the valve body, can also be marked on the plate.
The mark of the steam trap (GB12249) must be used: product model; Nominal diameter; Nominal pressure; Name and trademark of the manufacturer; Medium flow direction; Maximum working pressure; Maximum operating temperature. Optional marks: body material; Maximum allowable pressure; Maximum permissible temperature; Maximum drainage temperature; Factory number, date.
Safety valve mark (GB12241)
Mark on valve body: nominal diameter DN; Valve body material; Manufacturer's name or trademark; When the size or pressure level of the inlet and outlet connection part is equivalent, there should be an arrow indicating the direction of the flow of the medium
The sign on the plate: the maximum allowable operating temperature of the valve design (℃); Setting pressure (MPa); According to the standard number manufacturer's benchmark model; Rated displacement factor or for reference medium rated displacement; Flow area (mm2); Opening height (mm) exceeds pressure percentage.
The outer surface of the valve should be painted, and the paint layer should be durable and standardized, and ensure that the mark is clear and clear.

Note: Acid-resistant steel, stainless steel is not allowed to paint, copper alloy is not painted.
2, in order to represent the material of the sealing surface of the valve product, the handwheel, handle and plate hand should be identified and painted, and the color should be specified in the following table.

Note: (1) When the sealing surface material of the valve seat and the opening and closing part is different, it shall be painted according to the low hardness material.
(2) Check valve, painted on the top of the valve cover: safety valve, pressure reducing valve, trap is painted on the valve hood or valve cap.
3, the paint color of the transmission mechanism, according to the following provisions:
(1) Electric device: ordinary type painted medium gray, three-in-one (outdoor, explosion-proof, anti-corrosion) type painted blue.
(2) Pneumatic, hydraulic, gear transmission and other transmission mechanisms, the same product coloring.
4, according to the user's order requirements, change the color of the paint.
